Fluoride Warning: Call the Poison Control Center

We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth. …
For my part, I am willing to know the whole truth;
to know the worst; and to provide for it.
Patrick Henry (1736–1799)
US Founding Father

Let us document public statements uttered and offer common sense conclusions as to their truth.

Caught in one lie, do you believe anything else the person without respect for the truth says? What about the liar's credibility? False statements made with forethought and self-serving purpose cannot be trusted as having your best interest in mind, including your health. Is avarice an influencing factor?

Please help me add to this growing list with your contribution. Forward your find to fluoride@GrandLifestyle.com. Make sure you provide me with sufficient references to permit me to verify that such statements were published on the Internet, in newspapers, on television, in magazines, in pamphlets, in newsletters, in books, in handouts, etc. I am not afraid of defamation lawsuits when I have the truth on my side. Truth is an affirmative defense.

Let me know if you do not want to be credited with your contribution and your name will not be listed here.

Lie “Among reputable scientists there is no disagreement about the benefits of fluoridated water.”
Dr. Charles Hoffman, president of the Florida Dental Association, urged his patients and other members of the general public on the Internet to make this statement in letters addressed to city officials in 2010. THE FDA PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE ON FLUORIDATION no longer contains Dr. Hoffman's urging because Dr. Paul Connett, Executive Director of the Fluoride Action Network (www.fluoridealert.org) reminded the FDA president that false statements result in defamation lawsuits.
Lie “Absolutely, fluoride is safe. It's effective. It has reduced the decay rate in the population about 20 to 40% over the last 60 years.”
Dr. Sally Cram, American Dental Association, 2010.
Truth Click and scroll down to "Professional Perspectives"“It [fluoridation] is absolutely obsolete. In modern pharmacology  it's so clear that even if you have a fixed dose of a drug the individuals respond very differently to one and the same dose. In this case you had it in the water and people are drinking different amounts of water so you have huge variations in consumption.”
Dr. Arvid Carlsson, Nobel Laureate in Medicine, 2000.
Truth

Don't Drink the Water?
Brush your teeth, but the fluoride from your tap may not do much good - and may cause cancer. Newsweek, Feb 5, 1990.

Truth

About fluoridation: "We ought to go slowly. Everybody knows fluorine and fluoride are very poisonous substances ... We use them in enzyme chemistry to poison enzymes, those vital agents in the body. That is the reason things are poisoned; because the enzymes are poisoned and that is why animals and plants die."
Dr. James Sumner, Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1946.

Truth

"We do know that the use of drinking water containing as little as 1.2 to 3.0 parts per million of fluorine will cause such developmental disturbances in bones as osteosclerosis, spondylosis and osteopetrosis, as well as goiter; and we cannot afford to run the risk of producing such serious systemic disturbances in applying what is at present a doubtful procedure ... . There is no margin of safety, and that with their present knowledge or lack of knowledge of the chemistry of the subject, the potentialities for harm far outweigh those for good."
Editorial in the Journal of the American Dental Association, October 1944.
