All right, all right, listen up now. We'll start singing at the count of three.
Well-deserved relaxation after the tournament. Well, not all pictured here exerted themselves playing tennis; they were most welcome sideline admirers. Euphoria in a chickee by Albert Green

The Memorial Day round
robin We keep setting records. The Memorial Day turnout broke the attendance record — and not to speak of the having-so-much-fun record. We congratulate Carol Griffin, our industrious pro shop manager, ably assisted by tennis director Norm Schellenger and pro Mark Buckley, for a job well done.
The group is all smiles. Why? Everyone had lots of fun.
The top prize went to a top lady: Pro shop manager Carol Griffin congratulates Donna Singer, winner of the tournament. And then there was a co-winner. Following an official recount (and all chads having been accounted for), Maruca Crosby also earned a bottle of wine with a total score identical to Donna's. On the right is Robert Crosby, Maruca's hubby (as well as general manager and business agent). Here's the proud winner of the booby prize. Carol congratulates Raymond Krueger. There was a three-way tie for second place. The honors went to Grace Korse, Walter Rose, and Heinz Dinter. There's much excitement in the air. The 4th of July round robin promises great tennis and a hat full of fun. |
