Grand Lifestyle Publisher offers a unique service for those who wish to have a presence on the Internet with their own webpage without having to learn the intricacies of web design and web maintenance.

What is My Own Web and how does it work?

  • We build, administer the hosting, and maintain a website for you at www.YourChoice.com consisting of a maximum of 6 pages. YourChoice is a name of your choice.

  • You furnish us with
    (1) a maximum of 30 images (photographs and illustrations) — we do the scanning and cropping, a small fee applies if you exceed this number,
    (2) text not to exceed 3,000 words you wish to place on your website (we do the editing) — a small text preparation fee applies if you exceed this number), and
    (3) your choice of a name for your own, personal website — subject to availability.

    Tips for choosing a name: keep it short but unique; make it one word or combination of words (do not use spaces); use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-"); capitalization of the name is not significant (MyName is the same as myname).

    Examples of valid names: name; Name; NAME; firstnamelastname; FirstnameLastname; Firstname-Lastname; firstname_lastname; BusinessName; business-name.
    Please note: If your name has already been taken or is not correctly constructed, we will help you select another or correct it.

  • We then create your official Internet web address: It will be www.yourchoice.com (yourchoice will be the name of your choice).

  • Now we create your website with the optional photos and illustrations, and the text you have provided.

  • Once your website has been created, we ask you to review it for approval. We do this by sending you an email and you click on the link given in the email that takes you to your website.

  • Following your approval, we publish your website on the Internet.

  • We also place a link to your website on GrandLifestyle.com to make it easier for search engines to find your site.

  • Thereafter — once a month — you may submit changes to your web content, including graphic images and text. Bear in mind, your website may contain up to 12 images and 3,000 words. We will update your website with the material you submit.

  • Please visit Helpful Links To Web Resources where you will find personal webs. These personal webs may give you ideas on how you would like to have your web designed and implemented.

Your email address at YourChoice@YourOwnWeb.com

How would you like to have up to 100 email addresses? For example, one could read YourName@MyOwnWeb.com or Sales@MyOwnWeb.com. YourName will be a name of your choice. Since you are not competing with millions of users such as AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc, you have no problem using your preferred choice.

We scan all email for viruses. Your email traffic will be secure and protected by the latest protection technology available.

You will receive email at your MyOwnWeb.com address and relay incoming email to the email address you already have.

Offer products and services for sale

Do you wish to offer products and services for sale at your website?

We implement this service for you using PayPal and install a shopping cart on your website.

For each item, you supply us with a description of the product or service (limit 100 words), one photograph (optional), and the pricing and delivery information — and we will have it up and running on your website within 72 hours.
